Salama Praises University Teaching Staff for Their Effort for Reconstruction.

Benghazi, 3 March 2018(Lana) The UN Special Envoy to Libya Ghasan Salama has praised the teaching staff of the Benghazi University and founders of the Libyan Foundation for University Support for their effort to reconstruct the university. Solar panels to be used in mosques.

Tripoli, 4 March 2018 (Lana) The plans of the Mosques management at General Endowments Authority, since 2016 to deploy solar energy for lights and heating water have boren fruits. Endowment sources explained that solar panels prototype was installed at Raba Al Adwaya Mosque this week in collaboration with the Executive Body for Renewable Energy and Solar Energy Research centre in Tajoura which has long experience in the field. HNEC announces 5430 electorates registered abroad up to Saturday.

Tripoli, 4 March 2018 (Lana) High National Elections Commission (HNEC) has announced that total number of electorates registered abroad reached 5430 electorates up to Saturday. HNEC said the highest number of registration was in the UK where 1200 electorates were registered, and the lowest one was in Cyprus where only 8 people registered. HNEC extended the deadline for registration of Libyans abroad up to March 12, due to low registration pace and upon request of Libyans abroad who were unable to register due to some technical issues. =...
