EU Decides to Expand Authorization of its Mission for Border Control in Libya.

Brussels, 18 December 2018(Lana) The EU Ministerial Council has decided to expand authorization of its mission for bolder control in Libya, to help combat crime and trafficking. The decision, according to the Council, was in response to requests by the Libyan authorities, and was also in line with the EU policy to assist Libya overcome the transitional period and transit to democracy and prosperity. Sun'allah Says Disruption of Production at Al Sharara Was Forcible.

Tripoli, 18 December 2018(Lana) The Libyan National Oil Company NOC has announced force Majeure of operations at the Al Sharara Oil fields. The Chairman of the Board of NOC Mustafa Sun'allah has said that disruption of production at the fields was forcibly done by an armed group, which threatened personnel with violence.
