Rome, 20 October 2019(Lana) The Executive Officer of the Italian Eni Group Claudio Descalzi said 'Libya along with the east Mediterranean is an important region for Eni for the large reserves of natural gas estimated at 10 billion cubic meters. Descalzi stressed the importance of the region for Europe in general and for Eni in particular. Comedian Saleh Al Abyadh Passes Away After Long Struggle With Cancer.

Tripoli, 20 October 2019(Lana) Saleh Al Abyadh, a Libyan comedian, and a popular artist especially in the eastern part of the country, has passed away on Saturday after a long struggle with cancer, family sources said. Al Abyadh started his career in the eighties with several comic works on the theatre, and later on TV as well. Some of his best works on the theatre were Koushi Ya Kousha, Miser Khalil, and a series on TV including Shoo, Glia and Democracy, the Station, and Al Tayeb Darwish and others.
