Tripoli, 5 November 2019(Lana) GNA Minister of Finance has discussed proposals for pay rise with an ad hoc committee appointed by the Presidency Council to look into the demands by university staff syndicates and higher education staff. According to the Ministry's website, the Minister reviewed the financial situation of the state and the bloated salary section, which is taking a heavy toll on the general budget at the expense of development plans.
