US Embassy in Libya: Libyans Are Capable of Delivering Peace and Stability.

Tunis, 18 December 2019(Lana) US Embassy in Libya has said it appreciated attendance by participants in the American-Libyan Economic Dialogue held in Tunis recently. In remarks posted to its SMS page, the Embassy said it appreciated attendance from west and east Libyan regions, including representatives of political parties of the ALED meeting held here from 15-16 Dec. Kremlin: Putin and Merkel Stress Need for Preventing escalation in Libya.

Moscow, 17 December 2019(Lana) The Kremlin announced Monday that President Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel have stressed, in a telephone conversation, need for preventing escalation in Libya. Niamey, 17 December 2019( Lana) Leader of the five Sahel nations, Mauritania, Mali, Chad, Niger, and Burkina Faso have said that lack of security in the region was because of the situation in Libya.
