Libyan Red Crescent Appeals for Help for the Displaced.

Tarhouna, 29 December 2019(Lana) The Libyan Red Crescent Society has appealed to Public and private organisations and good doers to donate to displaced families facing winter harsh conditions. The Head of the Red Crescent Society Khalil Omran said the society was suffering shortages in medicine and other stuff needed by the displaced people, indicating that there were more than 1000 displaced people suffering different types of chronic diseases, and the total number of the displaced in Tarhouna were 7000 families. =... Tripoli, 29 December 2019(Lana) The Ghat Folklore Festival organizing committee has announced that the festival 25th session which was due kick off on Saturday has been postponed. In view of the current circumstances in the country which prevented conducting the festival on its original time, the committee decided to postpone the event until January 2020. Brussels, 29 December 2019(Lana) EU High Representative of Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said he will, along with a number of European Ministers, visit Libya on January 7 to meet Libyan leaders. Trade Exchange Between Libya and Egypt Declines in 2019.

Cairo, 29 December 2019(Lana) Deputy Chairman of the Egyptian Chamber of Commerce Imad Naser has said that trade exchange between Libya and Egypt has declined in 2019 to $455 million from $1.37 billion in 2013.
