Electricity Company Says Obliged to Shed Loads to preserve the National Grid.

Tripoli, 26 April 2105(Lana) The General Electricity Co. has announced that it was obliged to re-introduce the load shedding plan to save the grid, after increased consumption of power was recorded. The company attributed the reasons for the load shedding to the clashes in the western area which forced the company to disconnect some power lines between that region and Tripoli. Tripoli, 26 April 2015(Lana) Engineers working for the Man-made River authority have managed to operate most of the wells that supply fresh water to the capital Tripoli in the area of Gabal Al Hasawna, thus water supplies have begun to return to the city. A spokesman for the NSG Water Resources Ministry Suleiman Aboud attributed the supply cut in some areas of the capital, which are supplied from Al Hasawna wells to the power cuts in the western region.
