Amnesty International: Migrant rescue mission must extend closer to Libya.

Catania, 26 April 2015(Lana) European efforts to save the lives of migrants drowning in the Mediterranean must involve search and rescue operations near the shores of Libya, Amnesty International said on Saturday. Tunisia Opens its Airspace to Flights From Libya.

Tripoli, 26 April 2105(Lana) Tunisian authorities have decided to open Tunisian airspace to Flights coming from Libya via the airports of Metiga, Misrata, Labrag and Tobrug. Electricity Company Says Obliged to Shed Loads to preserve the National Grid.

Tripoli, 26 April 2105(Lana) The General Electricity Co. has announced that it was obliged to re-introduce the load shedding plan to save the grid, after increased consumption of power was recorded. The company attributed the reasons for the load shedding to the clashes in the western area which forced the company to disconnect some power lines between that region and Tripoli. Technical Teams at MMR Manage to Operate Most Wells That Supply Fresh Water to the Capital.

Tripoli, 26 April 2015(Lana) Engineers working for the Man-made River authority have managed to operate most of the wells that supply fresh water to the capital Tripoli in the area of Gabal Al Hasawna, thus water supplies have begun to return to the city. A spokesman for the NSG Water Resources Ministry Suleiman Aboud attributed the supply cut in some areas of the capital, which are supplied from Al Hasawna wells to the power cuts in the western region.
