Rome, 23 July 2105(Lana) In a statement following a meeting with Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentelone on Tuesday, the Head of the UN Support Mission in Libya Bernardino Leon said at last he was able to see light at the end of the tunnel in Libya. Tripoli, 23 July 2015(Lana) The Metropolitan Tripoli and large swaths of neighboring areas live under prolonged periods of power outing, which sometimes goes beyond 12 hours. Households had to endure summer heat with temperatures up to 35 degrees without electricity, while services and governemnt offices forced to close as a result of the power cuts. 1400 Years Old Qur'an manuscript Discovered by Birmingham University.

London 23 July 2015(Lana) A Qur'an manuscript dating back 1400 year has been placed by the University of Birmingham among the oldest in the world, thanks to modern scientific methods. Radiocarbon analysis has dated the parchment on which the text is written to the period between AD 568 and 645 with 95.4% accuracy, the University said.
