Electricity Company Says Power Transmission Lines Switched off at Al zawiyah Due to High Humidity.

Tripoli, 22 July 2015(Lana) The General Electricity Company has announced that power transmission lines between Al Zawiyah power Station and the neighboring areas and step-up transformers have been switched off because of high humidity which reached more than 100%. In a statement on Wednesday, the Company said as a result of the weather conditions, the station lost nearly 1500 mega watts of its capacity, and that work was underway to operate generation units and restore the previous level of the network. Tripoli, 22 July 2105(Lana) Oil Industry official have announced that two tankers were being loaded with 1.35 million barrels of crude at the terminal of Al Hreiga in eastern Libya this week. A tanker loaded with 750000 barrels of crude has already departed, and another 600000 barrels tanker was being loaded at the terminal, the Officials said. Sebha, 22 July 2105(Lana) The mayor of Sebha has states that life returned to normalcy in the southern Libyan city of Sebha following clashes between rivals Tabou and Tuareg tribes over the last days. Rome, 22 July 2105(Lana) Italian coast guard have announced that three Italian ships were involved in the rescue of up to 414 migrants who were on board 4 boats on Tuesday including one new born baby and two other children. According to the international Migration Organisation 150000 migrants fleeing poverty and wars in sub-Saharan Africa have reached European shores since January 2015.
