The people of Hun mark 87th anniversary of martyrdom of 19 freedom fighters executed by Italy in 1928.

Hun, 19.11.2015(Lana) The people of Hun marked Wednesday the 87th anniversary of martyrdom of 19 freedom fighters executed by Italy on 18 November 1928. The execution was in revenge for the heavy losses it suffered in Qarat Afta battle. Town Memory society marked the occasion at the local Hall in Hun attended by grandsons of the freedom fighters and the public. The event included screening if a film showing the fighting and sacrifices of the forefathers for freedom as well as a photo gallery depicting the Libyans struggle against Italian colonialists.
