Electoral Commission: Launch of the second phase of electoral training on (voting procedures)

Tripoli, September 9, 2024 (LANA) - The second phase of training on voting procedures was launched at the Commission's media center today, Sunday, targeting the electoral administration offices in the western and southern regions, organized and supervised by the Commission's Training and Procedures Department, in the presence of the Director of the Field Operations Department and the Head of the Training and Procedures Department.
The Commission explained on its Facebook page that the number of those targeted for training is (20) trainers, and the training will continue for four days, during the upcoming training rounds, employees will be trained at the 372 polling stations distributed over (60) municipalities, this course comes within the framework of the Commission's preparations to implement the voting process for the targeted municipal council elections in (the first group).
It is noteworthy that the first phase was dedicated to training training coordinators and primary trainers in the electoral administration offices in the eastern region within which the targeted municipal councils (the first group) fall, and the second phase targeted training coordinators and primary trainers for the offices in the western and southern regions.
