Tripoli, April 16, 2024 (Lana): The Permanent Representative of Libya to the UN, Taher El-Sonni, met yesterday evening at the Libyan mission’s headquarters in New York with the UN Envoy, Abdoulaye Bathily, accompanied by his newly appointed deputy, "Stephanie Khoury."
“The meeting discussed the latest developments in the situation in Libya and the challenges facing the political track in order to reach the completion of the electoral entitlement. We also talked about regional developments in the region and their impact on Libya and neighboring countries.” Al-Sunni said in a tweet.
The meeting came hours before Bathily presented his briefing to the Security Council on the latest developments in the situation in Libya.
