British Embassy: We have not issued new updates regarding travel to Libya.

Tripoli, April 14, 2024 (LANA) - The British Embassy in Libya denied on Saturday evening issuing new updates regarding travel to Libya.
The embassy said in a post on the (X) platform, that there are some false news reports about this matter, adding: ((Like many other countries, the United Kingdom advises its citizens not to travel to Libya and this has been continuously since 2014)).
Last Thursday, the British Foreign Office confirmed the continuation of its warnings regarding travel to Libya, saying that it continues to place it as one of the destinations that are not permitted to be visited, due to “the seriousness of the fragile local security situation, which could quickly deteriorate into violent fighting and clashes without warning.”
