Washington - April 12, 2024 (LANA) - White House spokesman John Kirby announced in a press conference today, Friday, that the United States is closely monitoring the potential Iranian military response to the Israeli attack and considers the threat of a retaliatory strike “real.”
“I think you understand that I cannot share the details of the intelligence, but we are certainly monitoring closely what we believe to be a very real threat of a possible attack on Israel announced by Iran,” Kirby said.
He added that Washington maintains continuous contacts with its partners in Israel so that they can protect themselves from such attacks.
