Italy intends to invite leaders of several African countries for the G7 summit.

Rome, April 11, 2024 (LANA) - Italy intends to invite leaders from several countries in Africa, as well as Argentina, Brazil and India, to attend the summit of the Group of Seven major industrialized countries, which it will host in mid-June.
The Group of Seven consists of the United States, Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the European Union. The leaders' summit is scheduled to be held in a resort in the southeast of the country from June 13 to 15. Noting that, Italy is currently holds the rotating presidency of the Group of Seven major industrialized countries for the year 2024.
