The Cuban President confirms that Palestinian families in Gaza are deprived of their sacred rights.

Havana, April 11, 2024 (LANA) - Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel confirmed that Palestinian families are deprived of their sacred rights, coinciding with the advent of Eid al-Fitr and the end of the month of Ramadan.

The Cuban President said, in a tweet on his account on the “X” platform, on Wednesday: “April 10 begins the celebration that concludes the blessed month of Ramadan in Islamic countries.”

The Cuban President adds: "As victims of Israeli genocide, Palestinian families residing in Gaza are deprived of their sacred rights to food and to practice their faith."

Miguel Díaz-Canel called for an end to the "genocide" against the people of the Gaza Strip, adding that, Cuba "will continue to raise its voice loudly as long as the Palestinian lands are being destroyed by the Israeli occupation."

 "We call on the international community not to be afraid to condemn the crime. Cuba wants to stop the genocide." He added.
