Non-Aligned Movement summit kicks-off in Uganda.

Kampala, January 19, 2024 (LANA) - The work of the nineteenth summit of heads of state and governments of the Non-Aligned Movement began in the Ugandan capital, Kampala, today, Friday, with the participation of the Chairman of the Presidential Council, “Mohamed Al-Mnifi,” and the membership of “Al-Taher Al-Baour,” who is in charge of running the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

     The summit will discuss the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip, which has exceeded 100 days and led to the death of more than 24,000 people, in addition to other crises the world is witnessing, including the continuation of the Russian-Ukrainian war and its impact on grain exports, which are of particular importance to countries in Africa and Asia.
