In her interview with the (LANA) envoy in Beijing: An official with China Radio International praises the professionalism of the Libyan News Agency and calls on it to sign a cooperation agreement in the field of news exchange.

Beijing, December 7, 2023 (LANA) - Yi Xinhua, External Relations Officer at the Chinese National Radio and Television Corporation (CGTN), expressed the authority’s readiness to sign a joint cooperation agreement with the Libyan News Agency in the field of news exchange.

“Xinhua” said in an extensive interview conducted with her by the Libyan News Agency delegate on the sidelines of the training course in the field of media held in the capital, Beijing, under the auspices of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, that the conflicting news and statements and the events taking place inside Libya require us to create direct communication links with the National Libyan media.

She stressed that the Libyan News Agency has long been characterized by credibility and impartiality in the way it publishes and deals with various events inside and outside Libya, expressing her admiration for the professionalism followed by (LANA) in its handling of international and regional events.

"Xinhua" expressed the Authority's readiness to establish a joint news platform with the Libyan News Agency to find out the truth about the events that Libya is going through as a national media outlet.

She also invited officials from the Libyan News Agency to visit her country and meet with their counterparts in the Authority to study joint cooperation and open broad horizons in the fields of qualification and training.

Xinhua indicated that her country's government seeks to find broad media communication channels to learn about the most prominent civilizations and cultures that Libya possesses and present them to the Chinese people.
