The Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, accompanied by the Presidential Representative, Abdullah Al-Lafi, inaugurated the Al-Zawiya Youth Hostel and the complex clinic.

Al-Zawiya, December 5, 2023 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, “Abdulhamid Al-Dabaiba,” accompanied by the Vice President of the Presidential Council, “Abdullah Al-Lafi,” today, Tuesday, opened the Al-Zawiya Youth Hostel in its new look after the completion of maintenance and development work, during his visit to the municipality of Al-Zawiya.

  The media office of the Ministry of Youth stated that the implemented project included maintaining and developing the facilities of the youth house, which includes 40 rooms, 3 meeting rooms, an administrative section, a dining hall, and a garden.

  He added that the Prime Minister was briefed during the visit on the ongoing work in the second phase of new construction at the facility, including swimming pools, a multi-purpose hall, and playgrounds. He pointed out that these projects come within the plan to restore life to youth facilities throughout the country, to prepare them as multi-purpose youth centers to build the capabilities of young people.

  The office stated that the Prime Minister, who was received by the head of the Libyan Youth Hostel Association, the mayor of Al-Zawiya Municipality, and a number of city notables, praised the efforts of the Ministry of Youth in restoring life to youth facilities in all cities and western regions.

   The opening ceremony was attended by the Ministers of State for Presidential and Council of Ministers Affairs, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Libyan Youth Hostels Association, the Director of the Ministry of Youth’s West Coast Branch, and the Dean of the Central Zawiya Municipality.

The Prime Minister also opened the complex clinic in the municipality of Zawiya after it was maintained and equipped by the Administrative Centers Development Authority, where he was received by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Technical Affairs and the Director General of the Authority.

During the opening, Al-Dabaiba praised the efforts made by the agency to restore life to health facilities by completing suspended projects, maintaining dilapidated ones, and equipping them with devices and equipment.
