Minister of Health meets with the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Libya.

Tripoli, November 30, 2023 (LANA) - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health, Ramadan Abu Jannah, discussed today, Thursday, with the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Libya, Abu Al-Hasanat Muhammad, the cooperation between the two countries, especially in the health field.

According to the Ministry of Health of the Government of National Unity, the two sides discussed the Ministry’s use of medical and auxiliary personnel from the State of Bangladesh within the framework of supporting the health sector and restoring life to medical facilities in various Libyan cities.

During the meeting, the two sides touched on Libyan students studying in Bangladeshi universities that cooperate with highly ranked universities in European countries.

Abu Jannah praised the efforts of the Republic of Bangladesh to support the health sector in Libya, and the important role of Bangladeshi medical and paramedical personnel, especially in health centers in the southern region.
