Tripoli, November 29, 2023 (LANA) - Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation, Ali Al-Abed, met today, Thursday, with the Undersecretary General of the Ministry of Economic, Employment and Competencies in Morocco, Noureddine Ben Khalil, and his corresponding delegation participating in the work of the Conference of Labor Ministers of the Sahel-Saharan countries.

The Minister stressed the bilateral relations between the two countries and the importance of coordination to exchange experiences in the fields of vocational training and labor inspection.

Undersecretary General of the Moroccan Ministry of Employment praised Libya's role in the success of the Conference of Labor Ministers of the Sahel-Saharan countries, noting the importance of organizing expatriate workers.

He also confirmed that his country will soon open a Consulate General in Tripoli to provide its services to the Moroccan community, which will help facilitate procedures for regularizing the status of Moroccan workers in Libya.
