Cairo, November 04, 2023 (LANA) - The Arab Parliament submitted an official letter to the United Nations Human Rights Council to form an international investigation committee to investigate the war crimes committed in the Gaza Strip.

The Arab Parliament added, in a statement issued today, Saturday, that what is happening in the occupied Palestinian territories, especially the Gaza Strip, is a genocidal war being practiced by the “occupying power” against civilians, including children, women and the elderly, in a full-fledged war crime and a crime against humanity.

Parliament called on the international community and the Security Council to break their silence and assume their responsibilities, by applying the rules of international law and international legitimacy resolutions, all the crimes, providing international protection for the defenseless Palestinian people and stop the bloodshed. .
