Tripoli, July 3, 2023 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, "Abdul Hamid al-Dabaiba," met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation, Farhat bin Qadara, at the Prime Minister's Office in the capital, Tripoli.

The meeting discussed the National Corporation's plan to increase oil and gas production, and the executive procedures for the sector development plan according to the specified budget.

Al-Dabaiba stressed the need to unify the efforts of all state institutions in favor of the oil and gas sector in order to increase production, and the need to achieve the principle of disclosing the operational and supply expenses of the oil sector.

The Prime Minister stressed the importance of achieving the principle of transparency in government spending, noting that the government's priority is to enable citizens in all regions of the country to benefit from oil revenues.
