Bashagha forms a committee to investigate causes of fuel crisis in the south

     Benghazi, 3 August, 2022 (Lana) - The Prime Minister of the Libyan government, designated by the House of Representatives, Fatehi Bashagha, formed a committee headed by his deputy, Salem Al-Zadma, to investigate the fuel crisis in the southern region.

 The committee is tasked with research, investigation into the causes of the fuel crisis in the southern region, direct communication with the relevant authorities, taking urgent measures to solve the fuel crisis, and developing appropriate solutions to ensure its access to citizens at the official prices of the state.

  The decision stressed that the committee would be in continuous session until the reasons for its formation were removed, and daily reports were submitted on the results of its work and presented to the Prime Minister.

The committee, headed by Zadma, includes in its membership the Minister of Social Affairs, the Director of the Southern Region Operations Department of the Brega Oil Marketing Company, the Director of the Sabha Security Directorate, a representative of the Municipal Guard, a representative of the Internal Security Agency, a representative of the Tariq bin Ziyad Brigade. Reinforced, a representative of the 128th Reinforced Brigade.
