Vienna hosts ministerial meeting in support of GNA.

Vienna, 09.05.2016(Lana) Italian Foreign Minister, Paolo Gentiloni said ministerial meeting in support of the Saraj led Government of National Accord (GNA), by the countries concerned with the Libyan affair is to be held in Vienna, May 16th. At a joint press conference with his Tunisian counterpart, Khamis Al Jhanswi, In Tunis said Monday the meeting would be in the presence of US Secretary of State, John Kerry, and would address ways to restore stability and security in Libya especially after entry of GNA into Tripoli. Paolo expressed satisfaction for the progress made in the efforts to achieve stability in Libya. Gentiloni explained that the situation is veering towards stability which would reflect on stability throughout southern Mediterranean. He reaffirmed Italy and Tunis support to the Government of National Accord. He also stressed the need for the two countries cooperation in the fight against terrorism and secure borders with Libya. The Tunisian Foreign Minister on his part expressed his country's keen interest to make the political process a success. =Lana=
