Valetta, 7 My 2016(Lana) The Minister of National Security in Malta Calmero Ebila has affirmed that restoring stability to Libya was a priority for Malta, and said his country was looking what role it could play to train Libyan coastal guard forces. According to the 'Times of Malta' Ebila said, on the sidelines of a visit by Michael Costrokes, Chairman of the EU Military Commission EUMC to Malta, his government and the EU countries were seeking ways to bring peace and stability to the People of Libya. Ebila and Costarokes discussed several issues including the route used by migrants south of the Island of Crete in the Mediterranean. Their talks also dealt with Malta's preparations to take over the leadership of the EU Council for the first 6 months of 2017. =Lana=
