Several members of House of Representatives convene meeting in Tripoli.

Gharyan, 26.04.2016(Lana) House of representatives MP for
Gharyan, Salah Al-Zoubic underlined that the representatives have
enough quorum to grant a vote of confidence to the Government of
National Accord (GNA) , but they do not want to resort to majority
style approach , pointing out that a committee was set up to
communicate with opposing members of parliament and the Presidential
Council, elderly and tribe chiefs of the eastern region to reach a
compromise.
In a statement to Lana, Zoubic said several GNA-proponent MPs
representing a lot of constituencies at national level held Monday
and Tuesday a meeting at a Tripoli hotel for consultations on the
possibility of holding a parliament session in a place outside
Tobruk to achieve a quorum to grant a vote confidence to the
government.
Zoubic added in his statement that a date for session of the HoR
to be held outside Tobruk, would be announced as soon as a venue for
the meeting is agreed and security and logistic arrangements are made
by mid-next week at the latest. he urged the MPs to hold national
interest supreme and above personal and regional interests and place
the interest of the homeland and its sovereignty over all
considerations.
