UN Envoy to Libya Put off Visit to Libyan Capital.

Tripoli, 24 March 2106(Lana) The UN Special Envoy to Libya Martin
Kobler said he was forced to put off a trip he planned to the Libyan
capital. 'I would have wanted to pave the way for the Presidential
Council which was produced by the political agreement in December, to
enter into the capital, He tweeted.
The UN should have access to Tripoli, Kobler said without naming
the party which obstructed his travel to Libya.
A spokesman for the Head of the UN Support Mission in Libya said
Kobler has wanted to travel to Tripoli, to help pave the way for the
Presidential Council, but his journey was met with objection again.
'The way should be open for the UN to exercise its mission, we need
an open routes to the capital and other cities in the West and South.
An informed source in Tripoli said Wednesday the NSG has put off a
visit by the UN Envoy to Libya Martin Kobler until Monday for
organisational reasons, adding that the Foreign Minister Ali Abu
Za'akok would make a statement to explain reasons for the delay.
The NSG is opposed to transition of power to the UN-backed
presidential council based in Tunisia.
The Presidential Council said on Facebook after a meeting in Tunis
on Tuesday, movement to Tripoli would take place in 'the few coming
days.'
