Gentelone: Sanctions Against Obstructers Going in Parallel With Support of Consensus Government.

lone has said that massive effort was being exerted to promote the
consensus government, stressing that sanctions against obstructers of
the political agreement were going in parallel with support of the
consensus government.
The Italian Aki news agency quoted the Italian minister as saying
on the sidelines of a meeting of the European Foreign Affairs Council
in Brussels 'the meeting was an opportunity to brief EU countries on
the political process that took place in Tunisia last week in support
of the Libyan consensus government, and moving of the government to
Tripoli as well as the support shown by the international community
namely the statement issued by the UN Security Council,'
The UN Special Envoy to Libya has stressed earlier on Monday that
there was an urgent need to act in Libya, given the increasing
terrorist threat, the state of insecurity and the economic
deterioration in the country.
Kobler who took part in the EU Foreign Ministers meeting said
before the meeting 'all parties have to act for a peaceful transition
of power.'
