Renewed Western Calls for Libyan Parliament to Endorse Al Saraj Government.

Eroleit has renewed a call for the Libyan Parliament to endorse the
government of Fayez Al Saraj, as the situation in the country
deteriorated and terrorist threat increased.
This came at a press conference Eroleit made on Sunday following
talks on Libya with foreign ministers of the US John Kerry, the UK
Philip Hammond, Germany Frank Shteimer, Italy Paolo Gentelone and the
EU High Representative of Foreign Affairs and Security Policy
Federica Mogherini.
Eroleit stressed that France and its partners had confidence in
the government of Al Saraj. 'We are ready to extend full support to
this government, and we will support the UN mission in Libya, and we
are working with the EU and the US to impose sanctions, if necessary,
on those, on either side, who prevent the government from
functioning, he said.
Restoring peace and law and order is a necessity for the people of
Libya, the neighboring countries, and Europe, and we will do what we
can for a stable Libya that's able of resolving its problems and
curbing the spread of Da'esh, and we have issued a declaration on
Libya, he stressed.
