Obari, 2 March 2016(Lana) Life returned to normalcy in the southern
Libyan city of Obari, schools reopened and displaced people returned
to their homes.
The local government offices were gradually returning to function
while policemen have called up for patrols in the city streets after
the reconciliation effort succeeded in the conflict between rivals in
Obari, a city council official said.
Trucks laden with food and fuel have arrived in the city after the
closed highway linking the city to the regional capital Sebha was
re-opened.
An agreement between conflicting parties in the city has been
reached, which will enable displaced families return to their homes
and government bodies to function again.
