UN Human Rights Council Discusses Human Rights Issues and Situation in Libya and Syria.

Geneva, 29 February 2016(Lana) The United Nations Human Rights
Council on Monday started its annual session which lasts until March
24, and which was expected to discuss human rights issues, especially
in countries where there are armed conflicts like Libya and Syria.
News reports said the 47 members council was expected to discuss
developments of human rights topics in countries such as Libya,
Central African Republic and North Korea and others.
The Council was scheduled to hold high-level sessions over the first
three days of its meeting, to listen to speeches by over 32 foreign
ministers, in addition to presentations by justice and human rights
ministers, and would also listen, in the first day meeting, to a
report by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.
