Tripoli, 22.02.2016(Lana) A partnership agreement was signed
Monday between the National Project of Hands for Reform and several
other partners with a view to strengthen combat of corruption,
transparency and accountability under the sponsorship of High
National Elections Commission over the next ten years.
Head of the project, Bader Addeen Abuhajer underlined in speech
during the signing ceremony, the resolve of those running the project
to realize its objectives. He praised the role of all other partners
in this project.
He explained that the goal of the project is a shared communal
responsibility by engaging all segments of society in fighting and
eradicating corruption and putting in place a detailed national
strategy which nucleus be a host of anti-corruption strategies in
each institution.
Abuhajer said corruption just like any other practice without
promotion it would weather and fade away.
A presentation was made about the project's vision, the targeted
parties and the organizational chart. Strategic planning was also
drawn to achieve the desired goals of the project.
The partnership agreement was signed by chairman of the National
Project, assistant deputy minister of interior for public affairs,
chairman of the board of the civil society commission, chairman of
the administrative committee of Information Body, deputy chairman of
the Libyan Society for Transparency and Combat of Corruption, head of
the coalition of the depth of finance services control, aviation
authority, Public Papers and Prints Company, Press Promotion Body and
High National Elections Committee.
