Libyan coastguard seizes a ship smuggling fuel , north west of Zawara city.

- Hamidia point , Friday evening , were able to seize a smuggling
ship loaded with diesel , at 25 miles inside the Libyan territorial
waters , north west of Zawara city.
Spokesman for the navy chief of staff "Ayub Qasim" , said that the
tanker was carrying the flag of Sierra Leone , and called "Captain
Huyam" , was carrying '1660' tons of diesel.
In a statement to - Lana - "Qasim" said , the detained ship staff
were nine people including one woman , and their nationalities where
from Turkey , Azerbaijan and Ukraine.
Ayub pointed out that the ship was taken to Tripoli naval base , and
had detained all its staff.
Asserting that , the staff in under investigation , and will be
referred to the competent authorities , according to local and
international legal proserdures.
