Israeli Occupation Forces Detain 18 Palestinians From West Bank.
Pulbished on:
Ramallah, 8 February 2016(Lana) Israeli occupation forces at dawn
on Monday detained 18 Palestinians in different parts of the West
Bank.
The arrests followed a crackdown by the Israeli army on
Palestinian towns and villages in the West Bank, reports said.
Meanwhile, the occupation forces were reported to have fired at
Palestinian farmers east of Al Breij camp, and also at fishermen off
the coast of Gaza.
Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that the occupation forces
stationed around 'Al Madrassa' military site, set up by the Israeli
army on the border with Gaza east of Al Breij camp, opened fire on
the border enclave, at farmers who attempted to access their farms.
No causalities have been reported.
The agency said the occupation forces targeted Palestinian
fishermen working within a 4 mile deep area in the Sea of Gaza. One
boat was reported damaged while the fishermen fled to shore.
The Israeli occupation forces are maintaining a policy of
preventing Palestinian farmers from accessing their lands and
fishermen from operating in the Sea of Gaza.
