Former chief of the UN peace mission in Mali , warns of the military intervention in Libya.

Tunisia, 05.02.2016 - Lana - The former chief of the UN peace mission
in Mali 'Monji Hamdi' , warned that a western military intervention
in Libya , would have significant adverse effects and repercussions
on the Arab region.
Hamdi , in statements quoted by the Tunisian news agency 'TAP' ,
after a meeting with the Tunisian president 'Beji Caid Essibsi' today
Friday , as saying that the military intervention which some western
countries are seeking in libya , would have serious consequences on
Tunisia and the whole region.
He called to speed-up the formation of a national unity government ,
that could face the security and economic challenges in Libya , and
to maintain unity and solidarity to confront terrorism and extremism.
Hamdi , called upon all political parties in libya , to unify
efforts and reconstruction , which services the Libyan people's
interest in peace , and contributing in stability and security in the
region.
