Agreement with Surman notables to release the detainees from Sabratha.

Surman, 27.01.2016(Lana) Mayor of Sabrata, Hussien al-Dawadi stated that a meeting was convened Tuesday between notables of Surman, Libya Wise Men Council delegation, as well as notables from Zawia and Sabrata to discuss the issue of the detainees with the armed group in Surman which is asking for the release of those involved in kidnappings and blackmail in the western region of the country. al-Dawadi said the outcome of the meeting concluded the release of those detained with the gunmen without conditions and ensuring good neighbourly relations among the tribes of Surman. They also agreed to make concerted efforts to reach the kidnapped from Surman and Sabrata, identify their whereabouts and their release, he said. They also underlined a mechanism to hand over those implicated in kidnappings to relevant state official authorities and follow up the outcome of the case. =Lana=
