Kobler congratulates Libyans and Presidential Council on formation of Government of National Accord.

Tripoli, 20.01.2016(Lana) The UN Secretary General Special Envoy to Libya, Martin Kobler congratulated the Libyans and Presidential Council on formation of Government of National Accord. He stressed that it is a significant step forward and an end to political divisions and armed dispute. Kobler said the formation of the government an important stride in the path to peace and stability in Libya. He stressed the need to immediately move for the next step which is approval of the government by House of Representatives. "I call on members of House of Representatives to hold supreme notional interest of the country over all considerations and convene quickly to debate approval of the proposed government" Kobler said. =Lana=
