Audit Office Retrieves 6 LD Billion From Public Departments.

Tripoli, 13 January 2106(Lana) The Audit Office has retrieved more than LD 6 billion from public departments in 2015, which it paid back into the public revenue accounts at the Central Bank of Libya. The Audit Office adviser, who is chairman of the follow up committee of state-funded accounts Saleh Darhoub, said 1400 public departments have so far returned the unspent amounts. He said the office is embarking on a mechanism to reset public departments account next week, noting that accounts funded from the first section of the budget, the second or the emergency fund would be transferred to the general state revenue. =Lana=
