NSG to Pay Salaries of Displaced and Grants of Students Studying Abroad.

Tripoli, 29 December 2015(Lana) The NSG cabinet has discussed, at
the weekly meeting held last week, the issue of the displaced people
who had their salaries withheld by their employers and decided to put
in place a mechanism to pay off their salaries in collaboration with
local councils particularly in Benghazi, A Government spokesman said.
Salaries of November have been paid off, and the authorities
were working on releasing those of December, the NSG Spokesman
Mohamed Ismael said.
A large quantity of medicine and vaccines of different types
have already arrived in the country, to meet the needs of hospitals,
including insulin, cancer treat drugs, kidney diseases drugs, and
laboratory and x ray stuff, Ismael said.
Ismael said the Governemnt was working to resolve the problem of
power blackout in the country, indicating that a tanker loaded with
40 million of gasoline has docked at Al Khaleej station, and that an
agreement has been reached with the Turkish company to resume urgent
work at Al Khoms project.
The spokesman said the Governemnt was looking into the problems
facing Libyan students studying abroad, and was coordinating with the
Audit Office on extension of study and payment of grants and fees.
