Tripoli, 23.12.2015(Lana) Tripoli's burns and cosmetology
hospital received last night 98 cases of burns and wounds due to
fireworks marking the prophet's birthday.
Director of media and Awareness at the hospital, Ali Milud
Al-Riyani told Lana reporter that some cases have their hands and
fingers amputated, while other cases varied from slight burns on
hands and faces.
he explained that 15 cases of amputation were registered
including partial hand and finger amputations< he said many cases
were discharged from the hospital.
However, Al-Rayani noted decreased cases of casualties as a
result of fireworks this year compared to last year when over 400
cases were recorded. he attributed the decrease to the campaign
launched by the media office in collaboration with other committees
formed by other sectors.
