Pulbished on:
Tripoli, 17 December 2015(Lana) 'Libya came fourth in a list of
Arab states regarding the number of imprisoned, disappeared and
missing journalists, according to the annual report published by the
'Reporters Without Borders' organisation.
The report said the number of kidnapped journalists in 2015 has
fallen compared to the previous year, with the total number of
missing journalists reaching 8, of them 5 were in Libya, or 63% of
the overall, which put Libya first in terms of the number of
disappearances in 2015.
The report said the fate of 4 Libyan journalists working for
'Cyrenaica' channel was still unknown, since a fact-finding mission
was dispatched in 2014.
The organisation said 'the irregularities surrounding
investigations have made the cases as of missing journalists, and
urged the Libyan authorities and the UNSMIL to published the truth
about their disappearance.
