A strategic partnership between the Tripoli International Library and the Moroccan House of Culture.

Tripoli, April 18, 2025 (LANA) - The Tripoli International Library announced the signing of a strategic partnership agreement with Dar Al Thaqafa for Publishing and Distribution, one of the oldest publishing houses in the Kingdom of Morocco. This step reflects the two institutions' commitment to strengthening cultural cooperation between Libya and Morocco.
The agreement was signed during an official meeting between the Director of the Tripoli International Library, Ms. Fatima Haqiq, and the Director General of the House of Culture, Mr. Hisham Al Qadiri. The two parties agreed on the terms of the cooperation, which aim to expand the horizons of publishing and distribution and open new channels for cultural exchange between the two countries.
Under the partnership, the Tripoli International Library will undertake the exclusive distribution of Dar Al Thaqafa's publications within Libya, while Dar Al Thaqafa will distribute the Tripoli Library's publications in the Moroccan market, in addition to representing it at exhibitions and cultural events in the Kingdom.
The House of Culture is a leading institution in the Moroccan and Arab cultural scene, having played a pivotal role in publishing the works of prominent writers and thinkers, in addition to its active presence at international exhibitions and literary events.
For her part, Ms. Fatima Haqiq affirmed that this step represents "a qualitative shift in the path of cultural cooperation between the two brotherly countries, and embodies a shared desire to enhance the mutual presence of Libyan and Moroccan writers in both literary arenas."
Mr. Hisham Al-Qadri noted that the agreement "reflects mutual trust and a shared vision for advancing the publishing industry in the Maghreb region and expanding the readership of both Libyan and Moroccan literature and thought."
This partnership represents a qualitative addition to the path of cultural cooperation between Morocco and Libya, opening the way for a wider flow of books and publications and enhancing opportunities for cultural dialogue and creative encounter between the two peoples.
