Tripoli, February 12, 2025 (L:ANA) - The 46th session of the Executive Council of the African Union kicked-off today, Wednesday, at the headquarters of the African Union in the Ethiopian capital, Addis, with the participation of the person in charge of running the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity, "Taher Al-Baour".

The session discusses several main files, including strengthening the role of the African Union in administrative and financial aspects, reviewing the reports of the sectoral ministerial committees and reports issued by various bodies of the Union. The agenda of the meetings also includes the election of commissioners and members of the Peace and Security Council, in addition to other entitlements related to the structures of the Union.
