Activities of the first Libyan Cultural Exhibition for Tourism kicks-off in Tripoli.

Tripoli, January 21, 2025 (LANA) - Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development "Mabrouka Toghi" inaugurated today, Tuesday, the activities of the first Libyan Cultural Exhibition for Tourism, Hospitality and Heritage in the presence of Minister of Tourism and Traditional Industries "Nasr-Deen al-Fazzani" and a number of officials, cultural figures and interested parties.

The exhibition, organized by the Ministry of Technical and Vocational Education in cooperation with the Ministries of Tourism and Culture, and the Antiquities Authority, aims to highlight the cultural diversity and Libyan cultural heritage and their role in promoting sustainable tourism and cultural awareness in society.

The Minister of Culture stressed, during her speech at the opening ceremony, that this event represents an important platform to shed light on the rich Libyan heritage, praising the fruitful cooperation between various parties to organize this exhibition that reflects the Libyan national identity.

The opening ceremony, which was held at the College of Tourism and Hospitality in Tripoli, witnessed the screening of a documentary video that covered the most prominent activities of the exhibition and an introductory video about the College of Technical and Vocational Education. 

The exhibition also includes dialogue sessions and workshops that address topics of tourism security, the role of tourism in preserving heritage, and includes competitions in culinary arts and visual arts shows, in addition to various artistic and cultural segments.

The exhibition will continue for 3 days, and is expected to attract a large number of visitors and those interested in Libyan heritage and culture.
