Libya and South Africa discuss joint youth initiatives.

Tripoli 25 August 2024 (Lana) GNU-Minister of Youth, Fathallah Al-Zni, discussed with the Deputy Minister of Women, Youth, and Persons with Disabilities of South Africa, "Mabaseka Letsiki,"  strengthening prospects for joint cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the World Youth Summit held in the Russian city "Kazan,"  also discussed ways to revive joint youth initiatives and create a healthy climate that contributes to developing the capabilities of youth professionally and scientifically and to achieving their ambitions in a way that serves the two countries.

The two sides expressed their mutual enthusiasm to revive cooperative programs that focus on providing opportunities of scholarships, vocational training, and diverse cultural exchanges for the youth of the two countries.

They also stressed the crucial role that educational and cultural cooperation and youth exchange can play in strengthening ties between the youth of the two countries under the African Union, considering youth as future leaders in our societies.

This meeting represents a step towards activating valuable development partnerships for the benefit of youth and a valuable opportunity to reaffirm the joint commitment and determination to invest in empowering, educating, and developing the capabilities of youth.
