Ministry of Social Affairs and the Arab Family Organization agree to hold a conference for the Arab family in Tripoli.

Tripoli, January 29, 2024 (Lana): The GNU Minister of Social Affairs, Wafaa Al-Kelani, agreed with the Acting Secretary-General of the Arab Family Organization, Amer Al-Jaridi, to hold a conference for the Arab family in Tripoli in partnership with the World Family Organization and the League of Arab States.

This came during a meeting between Al-Kelani and Al-Jaridi, where they discussed procedures for supporting Libyan families through wife and child grants, programs to support people with disabilities, and others.

According to the Ministry on its Facebook page today, Al-Jaridi commended Libya’s role as a founding country for the organization and a supporter of all its programs, praising the Ministry’s efforts, while Al-Kelani stresses her support for holding the organization’s general assembly in Libya, which represents a new start for the organization.

The meeting was attended by the Director of the Minister's Office, the Ministry's social expert, and the Director of the Family Development Department.
