Tripoli, August 13 (Lana): Members of the Fursan Janzour Brigade raided a site used for mining digital currencies ("Bitcoin") inside the city.
The battalion said in a statement that the raid, in which the Janzour Internal Security Office participated, came after suspecting that a site inside the city was carrying out illegal activity, using high-energy devices, and violating the rules of monetary policy.
The statement confirmed that after a process of monitoring the site, it was confirmed that the equipment used in mining digital currencies was found.
It stated that its refrigerators were also found which operate with very high electrical voltages, which pose serious danger and harm on the economic level and in the public interest, and they are not subject to monitoring by government agencies.
It stated that all legal measures were taken regarding the incident.
