Tripoli, June 20, 2023 (LANA) - The two representatives of the Presidential Council, "Musa Al-Koni" and "Abdullah Al-Lafi", met with the UN envoy to Libya, "Abdullah Batili", who briefed them on a summary of his briefing to the Security Council yesterday, Monday, and the results of his recent meetings with various parties involved in the political process.

He reviewed the meeting held today, Tuesday, the latest developments in the political situation in Libya, and the efforts made to achieve stability.

During the meeting, the two deputies stressed the importance of everyone's participation in resolving the Libyan crisis without exclusion, in order to pave the way for free and transparent elections, the results of which will be accepted by everyone.

In turn, "Batili" praised the efforts of the Presidential Council aimed at achieving stability, as the main partner of the UN mission in the political process, reaffirming the mission's continued support for the national reconciliation project, which has reached advanced stages, in preparation for the inclusive conference to be held in the coming months.
