Following a meeting with the leadership of the Civil Democratic Bloc, Williams listened to proposals to re-establish popular legitimacy.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, 3 February 2022 (Lana) The UN Secretary-General's adviser on Libya, Stephanie Williams, met in Benghazi yesterday leadership of the civil democratic bloc.
"I was pleased to meet with the leadership of the Civil Democratic Bloc in Benghazi and listened attentively to their proposal to re-establish popular legitimacy through a constituent conference that brings together all segments of society and political parties, and whose mission is to bring the country to a constitutional base, a mini-executive power and local rule," She tweeted after the meeting.
The meeting is part of a series of meetings Williams is holding in Benghazi these days with a number of civil and political blocs.
